PREMIUM FRESH
Established over 60 years ago, Premium Fresh Tasmania is a privately owned vegetable farming and processing operation. Our packing facility operates on the same site as the original family farm, reflecting six decades of farming heritage.
We grow the majority of our produce on our own land and long-term leased properties across northern Tasmania, allowing us to carefully manage every aspect of production—from land preparation and planting to nurturing and harvesting—using our own machinery to ensure the highest quality vegetables.
Tasmania’s stable climate and fertile soils provide ideal conditions for vegetable growing, enabling us to deliver consistently fresh, premium produce to our customers year-round.
Each crop is then transported back to the centrally-located packing facility at Forth to be diligently graded and packed prior to dispatch. Complete control of all processes from the field to the packing shed assures quality standards are always maintained. It also allows the opportunity to dispatch our products within hours of having been harvested. Partnerships with quality accredited transport providers also ensure our product reaches its destination in perfect condition, whether it is across the Bass Strait or across the world.
At Premium Fresh Tasmania the emphasis has always been on meeting and exceeding customer expectations. This philosophy has driven the company to be leaders in product development and the use of innovative technologies from around the world.
