OPPORTUNITIES

Premium Fresh Tasmania is a significant employer in the Devonport area, employing from 140 people during the quieter season, to over 220 during the busy carrot season. The carrot season runs from mid December to July, the onion line runs approximately 10 to 11 months per year, as does the specialty line, which processes swedes, turnips, brussels sprouts, broccoli and leeks.

At Premium Fresh Tasmania we believe in fostering the spirit of a “working family”, where we all share the same values and commitment to caring about each other and caring for our product.

If you feel that this is you and you have a we can do this together attitude, then we would be very interested in hearing from you.

Committed personnel are required to ensure the smooth running of all areas of operation and that the final product leaving the factory is of the highest possible standard.

Each crop is then transported back to the centrally-located packing facility at Forth to be diligently graded and packed prior to dispatch. Complete control of all processes from the field to the packing shed assures quality standards are always maintained. It also allows the opportunity to dispatch our products within hours of having been harvested. Partnerships with quality accredited transport providers also ensure our product reaches its destination in perfect condition, whether it is across Bass Strait or across the world.

At Premium Fresh Tasmania the emphasis has always been on meeting and exceeding customer expectations. This philosophy has driven the company to be leaders in product development and the use of innovative technologies from around the world.

We will continue to focus on the quality and sustainability of our products, our practices and our people. We are - Premium Fresh.
